A bare-bones site in March.424 appointments in August.

KC Beauty Lounge opened with a booking app, a bare-bones website and a Google listing nobody was working. We came in that April. By August the salon was doing 424 appointments a month, six in ten new clients said they’d found it through the website, and it had 186 Google reviews at 4.9 stars.

Timeline
Five months — April to August 2026. The salon had opened the previous November.
Our role
Launch partner. We built the website and its booking, ran the ads, and took over the Google listing. KC ran the salon.

01The challenge

What they were up against.

A 3,000-square-foot salon, six kinds of service and a full team on payroll, four months into paying rent — with a bare-bones website, no ads and a Google listing running itself. Every empty chair was costing money, and a new salon can’t wait for Google to notice it.

KC Beauty Lounge is a three-thousand-square-foot salon in East Orlando, a few minutes from the UCF campus — hair, nails, sugaring, facials, brows and lashes, a specialist in every chair, open seven days. It opened in November 2025 on a booking app, with a bare-bones website and a Google listing nobody was working. We came in the following April and built the whole thing: the site, the ads, the search.

02Strategy & approach

The play, and why this one.

A salon that’s a few months old can’t wait for rankings. They take time; payroll doesn’t. So the launch ran on three fronts at once — ads to fill the chairs now, a website that books the appointment the moment someone lands on it, and Google work that compounds underneath — each one built to hand clients to the next.

  1. 01Get paying clients in the door within weeks, not months, with a search ad for every service.
  2. 02Build a website that turns a visit into a booked appointment — prices shown, a booking button on every page.
  3. 03Take over the Google listing: reviews, photos, and the services people actually search for.
  4. 04Find the services nobody else in Orlando was showing up for, and own them.
03What we did

Three services, one launch.

All our services

The website

A page for every service, prices in the open, and booking right on the page — so the people who find KC become appointments, not missed calls. Six in ten new clients now name it as how they found the salon.

How it played out.

01

Ads filled the chairs while everything else was built.

Search ads went live in April, one campaign per service — nails, hair, lashes, brows, facials. Clicks cost under a dollar. Over five months, $6,350 in ads produced 144 booked appointments and calls that Google could track, about $44 each. The waxing campaign didn’t convert, so it was cut and the money moved to the ones that did.

02

A website that books, not one that says “call us”.

Every service got its own page with prices and times up front and a booking button that opens right there. By August, 63% of new clients told the front desk they’d found KC through the website — 127 people in one month — and 177 of the month’s appointments were traced back to it.

Then Google started doing the work.

Reviews went from 61 to 186 at a 4.9-star average. The number of people asking Google for directions to KC nearly tripled. And five months after the site went live, KC shows on page one of Google for 674 different searches — including one lash treatment nobody else in Orlando was showing up for, which now brings in around twenty appointments a month on its own.

How fast it happened

Ads were producing booked appointments in the first month. By July the website was the single biggest source of new clients the front desk recorded. The Google side took longest, as it always does — reviews, Maps visibility and page-one searches built steadily through the summer and were still climbing in August.

What it meant for the business

424 appointments in a month, five months after the site went live, for a salon that started with a booking app and a bare-bones site. New clients went from 134 in July to 200 in August, and most of them came in through a website that was a placeholder in March.

06Lessons & takeaways

What this means for your salon.

01

Don’t wait for Google to fill a new salon

Rankings take months. Ads booked appointments in KC’s first weeks at about $44 each, and paid for the time everything else needed to build.

02

Your website should book, not just look good

Prices up front and a booking button on every page made the website KC’s biggest source of new clients within four months. A beautiful site that says “call us” leaves most of them on the table.

03

Own the searches nobody else is answering

A new salon won’t out-rank the established ones for the big searches. It can own the specific ones — a single lash treatment now brings KC around twenty appointments a month.

What we’d do differently

Have the booking tracking live before the first ad ran. KC was taking appointments for six weeks before we were counting them properly, which made April and May harder to read than they needed to be — and harder to tell which of the ads and the Google work deserved the credit.

Other turnarounds.
